Throw away your “do nothing” cloth face mask and actually protect yourself with KN95 face masks. Remember that bacteria and viruses are all around us. Each time you take a breath, you inhale them into your body. With COVID-19, just the act of breathing may harm you. A cloth mask does nothing to filter out the bacteria and viruses that are in the air and which you are breathing. Don’t just wear a cloth face mask when you can wear a KN95 face mask that will filter up to 95 percent of all particles, 0.3 microns or lager, that are in the air each time you breathe.
The KN95 face masks encapsulate your entire face, nose and chin therefore providing a superior level of leak protection. Further, the KN95 faces masks are designed to filter out 95 percent of all particles that you breathe in each time you take a breath that have a diameter of 0.3 microns or larger. The KN95 mask provides the same level of protection while you breathe as does the American N95 face mask standard and the European FFP2 face mark standard. Additionally, the KN95 face masks are generally considered more comfortable to wear than a N95 face mask. The KN95 material is soft to wear against your face and it has two loops that hook behind your ears to hold it against your face.
Further, the KN95 face mask also has an exhaust vent built into the mask. The exhaust vent is designed to let the air that you exhale into the face mask escape. This feature helps reduce the moisture within the face mask and reduces or eliminates the fogging that can occur on your glasses each time you exhale. The exhaust vent is a one way vent so it lets air out of your KN95 face mask but does not permit any outside air to enter the mask when you breathe in.
Remember, a cloth face mask helps protect those who are around you from the particles that you exhale but does nothing to protect you. Throw out your pretty cloth mask and wear a KN95 face mask that helps protect you each time you breathe. Don’t just protect others – protect yourself!
